MPlayerWii v0.03 veröffentlicht

r0n hat eine neue version des Mplayer port für die Wii veröffentlicht. Mplayer ist einer der besten Open Source Programme das unter anderem die Formate DIVX, XVID, AVI, MPEG, MPEG2, OGG, MP3 and WAV abspielen kann. Hier kann man sich noch mal alle Videocodecs anschauen und hier findet man die Audio codecs.

This new version adds support for USB Mass Storage devices, volume control and audio network streaming (shoutcast and mms). Sadly, due to the Nintendo Wii’s limitation of using USB v1.1 for it’s USB interface it isn’t fast enough to stream large movies, but works well playing audio files.

What’s New?

* added USB storage support (USB reading is dead slow unfortunately, only good for MP3 files)
* added volume controls (Up/Down buttons on the wiimote)
* added wiimote buttons repeat during playback
* added preliminary test network streaming (shoutcast and mms)
* longer filename display in the file selection screen
* fix for widescreen aspect ratio (uses the Wii display settings)
* more audio playback fixes

MPlayerWii v0.02 veröffentlicht

Der an anderer Stelle schon beschriebene Mplayer von dem MPlayer Team wurde geupdatet und ein paar kleine neue features eingebaut.

• Video codecs: Xvid, DivX, Windows Media, MPEG 1/2, H264
• Audio codecs: MPEG 1/2/3, Windows Media, AAC

Elektromukke ist ja nicht mein Fall aber das hier zieht mich in den Bann. Die Französische Band Bisou GTI hat massig 80´Style in Ihren Vids und das macht sie so unglaublich cool. Achtziger sind ja sonnsten nich so dolle, aber unsere Nachbarn waren ja schon immer ein wenig anders Rahhh wie ich gerade auf der Myspace seite haben sie krissKross geremixt, hiermit bekenne ich mich öffentlich diese Band rockt. Muhahhaha krissKross ich raffs nich. Wie geil.

Uff die hauen einen von den Socken ziehe hier und dort noch akustisches Infomaterial an Land und bin schlichtweg begeistert, leider ist das Video nur zur hälfte da auf Youtube noch nichts hochgeladen wurde. Grrrrrrrr. Mist.

Ich bin ja für huete Abend in den sektor O. Zum Rudelgucken eingeladen. Muss noch schauen ob ich mir das wirklich geben will denn Menschenmassen stehen nicht gerade auf meiner Beliebtheitsskala. Aber Autokorsos Rocken. Falls wir wirklich gewinnen sollten. Man weiss ja nie.
